Fumoto Donates Over 800 Stuffed Animals

On May 18th, 2022, FUMOTO USA partnered with the Santa Rosa Fire Department to provide children with a little solace in emergency situations. We are pleased to announce that eight hundred and forty stuffed animals were donated. Our own Dory Trebicka shared: “We are so grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to our local community. As someone who has a small child I know of the stress children may endure during trying situations such as a house fire. It is our greatest hope that our donation will be able to provide a small amount of comfort to children during these traumatic events.” 

While COVID has been at the forefront of the world's attention in recent years, we must not forget about other issues that plague our local communities. The California wildfires have continued to leave destruction in their wake by destroying homes and uprooting families. In times of high stress, accidents are more likely to occur. It is our hope that the donated stuffed animals will aid first responders in promoting calmness during stressful situations. 

We at Fumoto believe the relationship between first responders and the community is a very important one.
